Part of the large family of SABULADOR “sand-effect paints”, which has been dedicated to interior decoration until now, SABULADOR EXTERIOR can open up a world of fresh potential for any project thanks to the countless colours available in the catalogue.

How to use sand-effect colours: applying SABULADOR EXTERIOR

SABULADOR EXTERIOR is extremely easy to apply.
The application technique consists of applying generous quantities of the product with short, even brushstrokes in all directions.

PREPARATION OF THE SUPPORT SURFACE
Old, lime-based or alkaline pH surfaces

• Remove any old, non-adhering and flaking paint
• Wash with water and a suitable soap product
• Fill the surface to be treated
• Once dry, sand and apply a coat of Water Free Trasparente, diluted in a 1:1 ratio with synthetic thinner or paint thinner, using a brush or roller.
• After around 16 hours at 20°C, proceed with the coloured Primer 1400 diluted 15-20% with water (the Primer 1400 should be applied with the PV 09 Brush or PV 95 Roller, applying one or two coats to cover the surface)
• After 6-8 hours at 20°C, proceed to apply SABULADOR EXTERIOR.

PREPARATION OF THE SUPPORT SURFACE
New Surfaces

• Fill the surface to be treated correctly
• Once dry, sand and apply a coat of Fissativo Acrilico 30G Trasparente, diluted in a 1:5 ratio with water, using a brush or roller.
• After around 8 hours at 20°C, proceed with the coloured Primer 1400 diluted 15-20% with water (the Primer 1400 should be applied with the PV 09 Brush or PV 95 Roller, applying one or two coats to cover the surface)
• After 6-8 hours at 20°C, proceed to apply SABULADOR EXTERIOR.

Sand-effect paint: the colours of SABULADOR EXTERIOR

SABULADOR EXTERIOR is available in a wide range of colours. From fairly neutral tones all the way up to darker, more vibrant shades. It also makes it possible to create surfaces with an immense sense of depth (for example, by pairing a light surface with a darker trim).

And that’s not all. SABULADOR EXTERIOR offers two types of matt finish: a fine and a medium grain, so the final appearance and the tactile feel can be adapted to lots of different project types.

To achieve the colours shown in the catalogue, it is necessary to add the VALCLONE Paint Mixing System to the Primer 1400 and SABULADOR EXTERIOR.
