Find Design Fair Asia: VALPAINT decorative paints among the highlights of the design fair
From 22 to 24 September 2022, Singapore was at the heart of the world’s design industry.
All the major furniture and design brands and exhibitors attended the first FIND, which stands for Furniture, INteriors and Design, the official trade fair of the Singapore Design Festival, organised by Fiera Milano as a joint venture with DMG Events and MP Singapore.
The trade fair, organised with the aim of bringing Asia into the global design circuit by strengthening its positioning as the hub for South-east Asia, has benefited from important collaborations with top names in Italian design in order to promote and showcase Made in Italy products, not only in South-east Asia, but also worldwide.
VALPAINT was there too, along with 50 other Italian brands that not only put their products and expertise on display, but also, thanks to the discussion area, were able to communicate their product philosophies.
VALPAINT at the Design Fair: Decorative paints are increasingly popular as interior design features
The Italian company Valpaint, a leader in the design and production of decorative paints and wall coverings, was eager to be included in the Italian contingent at FIND.
Although Singapore is not entirely new to VALPAINT (which already has its own brand distributors in this Asian city-state), the company’s participation at a show with such a strong design focus was an important opportunity to reiterate the brand’s philosophy.
It is often thought that decorative paints are simply building materials, but in fact, they are design features in their own right. Through colour, texture and tactility, decorative coverings can make a strong impact on a space based on the design mood you want to create.
Not only that, but VALPAINT decorative paints have aesthetic properties that give them an unparalleled cinematic effect and are designed and formulated with a strong focus on the environment and sustainability. All VALPAINT products are tested according to the most stringent legal requirements.
Architects, interior designers and creatives from all over the world visited the VALPAINT stand
The VALPAINT stand attracted considerable interest among architects, interior designers, and creatives, who are now looking at the world of paints and decorative coverings with great interest.
The high profile of this event attracted visitors from beyond the city-state of Singapore, even from surrounding countries, including the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia and Indonesia, with business owners showing a strong interest in importing VALPAINT into their own regions.
It all shows that the match between VALPAINT decorative paints and the world of interior design is succeeding in creating a common thread to unite and guide the entire philosophy of design.
More info about FIND...
The first FIND was based on six pillars:
• sustainable development
• post-pandemic hospitality
• the biophilic design movement
• the future of well-being
• metaverse design and creativity
• commerce and creativity
Italy was well represented at a 10,000 m2 exhibition space in the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre.
The cooperation between internationally known architect and urban planner Stefano Boeri and Giorgio Donà, who co-founded the multidisciplinary design firm Stefano Boeri Interiors, and FIND resulted in an exclusive area called THE ITALIAN DESIGN FUTURE CAPSULE.
The profile of the trade fair was also raised considerably by a partnership with Interni magazine, a leading Italian design publication.
The event highlighted the creativity, craftsmanship, and design thinking that Italy is known for, confirming that the Bel Paese is playing a central role in anticipating trends and interpreting them with a unique, original take.
