However, given that the conditions in which the products are used are not under our control, we will not be held liable for any recommendations or advice we provide. All products required for creating the JUNGLE effect are sensitive to different painting techniques therefore it is important that the painting work is carried out entirely by same person. Moreover, it is essential to follow the application instructions specific to each JUNGLE Range effect. Shades may vary compared to the catalogue by between 20% and 30%, as well as from one batch to another, thus it is advisable to carry out a small test before commencing the work. The manufacturer and the distributor shall not be held liable for possible variations between batches, or in cases where the batch number is illegible. Should the batches be different, all the material must be mixed in a large container before beginning application, in order to avoid differences in colour once the product has been applied. Check the stencils supplied with the JUNGLE KIT thoroughly before positioning them. In particular, check the quantity and integrity of the stencils to ensure the correct outcome of the desired decorative effect.

JUNGLE Decorative Paints can be applied to various surfaces including cement (new or old), plasterboard, plaster of Paris, wood (new or old), plastic, glass and iron (new or old), provided they are free of humidity, well dry, smooth and have already been treated. Any loose or dusty paint, as well as any grease or rust, must be removed and the surface washed with suitable soap. Fill the surfaces to be decorated, if necessary, and apply a base coat that is suitable to the type of surface to be treated. Once the base coat is dry, apply the JUNGLE Range products as indicated below: 1) PRIMER 700. (Coverage 0.080 l/sqm) Apply a coat using a wool roller. Allow to dry for 4 hours at 20°C, then proceed to Point 2.
2) Place the PT 8A STENCIL over the entire surface to be decorated, align the connection points between the various stencils and mark them with a pencil for repositioning the successive stencil (Points 5 and 7). Proceed to Point 3. N.B: These marks may be removed with a rubber once work is completed.
3) PT 621 already coloured. (Coverage 0.270 l/sqm) Using the stainless steel trowel, apply a coat in the most uniform manner possible. While product PT 621 is still wet, run the 20 cm Mohair Roller over the surface by painting strips 3 metres high and 1 m wide over the entire surface covered by PT 8A STENCILS. While product PT 621 is still wet, remove the stencils and allow to dry for about 6 hours at 20°C until the paint is completely dry. Finally, smooth using 120-grit sandpaper to remove lumps and protruding scales, creating a slight textured effect above the scales. Proceed to Point 4 once work is completed.
4) PT 622A to be coloured in advance using the VALCLONE Dispensing System or directly by VALPAINT. (Coverage 0.100 l/sqm) Apply a layer using the 10 cm wool roller and spread product PT 622A well so that the area above the scales appears darker and more covered compared to the gaps. Allow to dry for 1 hour at 20°C, then proceed to Point 5. 5) Place the PT 9B STENCIL according to the marks left by the previous LP 8A stencils. Proceed to Point 6.
N.B: The PT 9B STENCIL must be repositioned several times over the entire surface to be decorated by connecting the relative points. 6) PT 622B to be coloured in advance using the VALCLONE Dispensing System or directly by VALPAINT. (Coverage 0.070 l/sqm) Apply using a brush with short bristles (2-3 cm) and paint over only the holed parts of the PT 9B STENCIL. Reposition the PT 9B STENCIL by aligning the points and continue applying product PT 622B until completing the surface to be decorated. Allow to dry for approx. 1 hour at 20°C, then proceed to Point 7.
7) Position the PT 10C STENCIL according to the marks left by the previous PT 9B Stencils. Proceed to Point 8. The PT 10C STENCIL must be repositioned several times over the entire surface to be decorated by aligning the relative points. 8) PT 622C to be coloured in advance using the VALCLONE Dispensing System or directly by VALPAINT. (Coverage 0.050 l/sqm) Apply as specified in Point 6. In order to make the surface washable and glossy, allow to dry for 1 hour at 20°C and proceed to Point 9.
9) PT 624 GLOSSY. (Coverage 0.100 l/sqm) Apply a coat using the wool roller 10 cm.
N.B: All the above-mentioned phases must be completed without interruptions once they are started, while any areas that have already been coated must not be retouched. The PT 9B and PT 10C STENCILS must be repositioned several times and may lose their adhesive properties. If such is the case, spray the side of the stencil to be fixed to the surface with ADIPIT 500 PV 73 temporary spray that comes with the JUNGLE KIT.
